SLIC Superpixels

SLIC Superpixels

Source code and cross-platform executables for SLIC superpixels. Provided a color (or greyscale) input image, SLIC clusters pixels in the combined color and image plane space to efficiently generate compact, nearly uniform superpixels. The simplicity of SLIC makes it extremely easy to use, and the efficiency of the algorithm makes it very practical. Experiments show that SLIC produces superpixels at a lower computational cost while achieving a segmentation quality equal to or greater than state-of-the-art methods.
